Symptoms of Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), also known as acute myelogenous leukemia (AL), is a grave blood cancer that affects the bone marrow. With AML, the bone marrow produces abnormal myeloid cells. These abnormal cells multiply rapidly, crowding out regular blood cells. This can lead to a variety of intense symptoms, which may differ from person to person.
